How is our data kept private and separate from other churches?
Every organisation's data is isolated at the database level using row-level security (RLS) multi-tenancy — not just an app-layer filter. No request can ever read another church's data, and our test suite includes mandatory “leak tests” that prove it on every change.
Is this built for Indian churches?
Completely. Eklaysia is India-first by design — phone-number identity, UPI-friendly giving, 80G & FCRA compliance, payroll with PF/ESI/PT/TDS, and full support for Tamil and other Indian languages. The ledger is rupee-native and runs on the Indian financial year throughout.
Can we migrate from spreadsheets or Tally?
Absolutely. Our import wizard pulls people in from CSV/XLSX with automatic de-duplication, and you can import opening balances and donations into the ledger. Most teams are off spreadsheets within the first week.
Is the member app really a group-chat replacement?
It's purpose-built for that. Channels and direct messages live inside an org-governed app you control — with moderation, retention and built-in safeguarding for minors — so ministry conversations stay in one accountable, exportable place instead of scattered personal chats.
